1. Be patient with your journey
2. Be realistic with your goals
3. Be honest with yourself and your coach (if you have one)
4. DONT compare yourself to others
5. DONT look for quick fixes!
Christmas time has a way of making us all a little bit fuller doesn’t it. And then along comes January and we want that fullness off as quick as possible….right?
New year new me and all that…right!
From our experience of helping hundreds of clients achieve their weight loss goals over the years we cannot stress enough the importance of applying the following mind set as you approach the new year…..
“𝘼𝙥𝙥𝙡𝙮 𝙥𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙚𝙣𝙘𝙚 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙘𝙤𝙣𝙨𝙞𝙨𝙩𝙚𝙣𝙘𝙮 𝙩𝙤 𝙝𝙚𝙖𝙡𝙩𝙝𝙮 𝙚𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙚𝙭𝙚𝙧𝙘𝙞𝙨𝙚 𝙤𝙫𝙚𝙧 𝙖 𝙎𝙐𝙎𝙏𝘼𝙄𝙉𝙀𝘿 𝙥𝙚𝙧𝙞𝙤𝙙 𝙤𝙛 𝙩𝙞𝙢𝙚 𝙩𝙤 𝙖𝙘𝙝𝙞𝙚𝙫𝙚 𝙮𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙬𝙚𝙞𝙜𝙝𝙩 𝙡𝙤𝙨𝙨 𝙜𝙤𝙖𝙡”-𝙋𝙀𝙍𝙄𝙊𝘿!
We also strongly advise you avoid “fad” diets promising you quick fix solutions as these will inevitably lead you to being in the exact same position you started the year in.
🔸Now here are a couple of questions to ask yourself that could well give you a reality check…….
Q1-Did you start this year determined to finally achieve your weight loss goals?
Q2-As the year now draws to a close are you in exactly the same position you were in at the start of the year?
If you answered yes to both of these questions then ask yourself why?
Yes it had been a tough year due to the pandemic but you can’t continue using that as an excuse IF weight loss is a high priority your life.
Below are two of our best weight loss transformations from this year. They both applied the 5 key points we mentioned at the start of this blog throughout the year. Including lockdowns.
⭐️Skye Walker (12 months)
-97lbs weight loss
-11 inch waist loss
⭐️Ben Jackson (12 months)
-27lbs weight loss
-6 inch waist reduction
Fast forward 12 months and as you can see they have made amazing progress.
If your current body weight leaves you feeling any of the following:
•Low in confidence
•Low in self esteem
•Uncomfortable in your clothes
•Anxious and/or frustrated regularly……..
Then apply the 5 key points we have highlighted and stay patient with your journey!
A little food for thought to finish on……
Just think where you could be this time next year if you too apply patience and consistency to healthy eating and exercise over a SUSTAINED period of time!
Ultimately it comes down to how high of a priority you hold weight loss in your life.
Believe in yourself and make 2021 your year for change! You will feel absolutely amazing for it 👌
All the best,
